Computational Fluid Dynamics

Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) is a special branch of fluid mechanics that uses numerical analysis and algorithms to solve and analyze problems that involve fluid flows. Powerful computational systems, such as a cluster, are used to perform the calculations required to simulate the interaction of liquids and gases with surfaces defined by boundary conditions. With high-speed supercomputers, better solutions can be achieved. New software improves the accuracy and speed of complex simulation scenarios that were not possible just a few years ago.

CIS, Inc. utilizes both internal and external resources to provide the best computational fluid dynamics simulation available for heat flows, aerodynamics and other fluid flow complex projects.
